From an AP article Thursday July 20:

In an interview Thursday, CEO Eric Schmidt said Google's engineers made 14 different changes to the search engine's formula during the second quarter in an effort to display more relevant ads and spur more revenue-generating clicks by Web surfers. "It is powering at full blast," Schmidt said of the search engine's advertising formula.

Yeah. I am getting more expensive clicks and NO conversions. Shuts down all our campaigns on Friday, I think for the last time.

hdpt00 on Google's CEO BS: Keep lying and you'll end up like Ken Lay, is it worth it?

Google had a lot of bad by releasing their earnings report (a 110% increase) on one of the worst stock market days of the year. Maybe all the 'breaks' going Google's way has come to an end?

hdpt00,

Predicting someone will end up like Ken Lay is a bit disturbing since mr. Lay died 3 weeks ago...

I'd be willing to bet on that one...
