Is anyone else seeing clicks and impressions for inactive keywords? We have a few keywords that say raise bid to $1.00 and are inactive, but they are still getting a few impressions and clicks at $0.06. These keywords have shown as inactive for a few days and these impressions/clicks are from today.

Yes, am seeing this sporadically - wish it was more.

Yas, you may get some clicks. But they will probably be towards the top of your max bid.

Mine are all exactly at the max bid. Kind of annoying when the max is 40 and the actual used to be 20...

Don't want to delete them yet thoguh.

I had some words that I had turned down to .05 and had activations of $1.00 and $5.00 and the other day I saw a lot of impressions and all the clicks were at 5 cents.

Seems to have subsided since then though.

I too am getting clicks and impressions for inactive keywords. See my post lower down in the forum. I was wondering where they were coming from.

Check this:

I did a search on google for my top keyword and was going through each page of the search results just to see whats going on in the organic results. I saw my ads re-appear on page 5, again on page 21 and then again on page 39. When I tried the experiment over again I saw my ad again, but on different pages. (ie, not necessarily the 5th). So it looks like some of these inactive keywords ARE showing the ads but just sporadically and much deeper in the results pages.

I figure they are still experimenting and maybe are still interested in knowing how these inactive keywords/ads are performing. Perhaps they show the ads deeper into the search results because by that time the user hasn't clicked on any other ad so they might as well try mine.
