What's the best way to track leads?

I'm missing the next step in my PPC campaigns, and it's one that everyone here has time and again said is critical.

My PPC ads go to a landing page with a form. Consumer completes the form and receives information - this generates the lead.

I'm using Google's conversion tracking on my information page. I've also just invested in Clicktracks. Unfortunately Clicktracks doesn't seem to provide me much more info than what I already knew.

I think I need some way of comparing what I've spent on PPC ads with what turn into valid leads. And then translate that into what a valid lead is costing by keyword.

Am I on the right track? What's the best way to accomplish this, what software, etc?

The best tool is your own database or spreadsheet because SEs don't have the latest data visible to you, whereas your site knows exactly when a visitor has converted.

I use OnePoint for getting the latest stats and an in-house one for delayed stats but containing data not available from the PPCSEs.
