Assuming that's true, it would be cool if Google offered a tool to its advertisers that said what other keywords people search on who search for a particular keyword in question.
Kind of like Amazon's 'People who bought this book also bought...' feature but for keyword buyers.
What do you all think? Would anyone else find this of value?
Seems like we make lots of assumptions about "money keywords" being pretty specific and it is intuitive that that is how people do things but it might not be the case.
Another thing that would be interesting is to see how the lag time between initial visit and purchase when someone lands on the site with a general query vs. a very specific one.
There is a whole world of data on query intent and purchase cycles as they relate to query language we may have yet to explore since the focus tends to be so heavily weighted towards amount of traffic, CTR, and direct response conversion rates associated with each keyword.
