Adwords Broad Match & Logs

Will broad match variables show in logs as specific keywords?

Hi,

If I setup an AW group and only enter "strawbale house" as the KW, but list it as a broad, phrase & exact match.

When someone searches for "strawbale house construction" and clicks my AW ad, will the term "strawbale house construction" appear in my logs?

Or will it only be "strawbale house" as that's the keyword I used in my AW?

Any feedback greatly appreciated.

TIA & Best

Rob

What the user searched for, in this case "strawbale house construction" should appear in your logs.

If you mean by 'logs' the logs on your server, yes the whole string would show. If you mean on Google Adwords' reports, then no it would not show. On the adwords reports only the matched word(s) would register the hit.

Excellent folks... many thanks! Just what I needed. And yes I meant logs on my web server.

Adios!

The logs on your webserver are a great source of specific keywords.
