well last I heard it was in 100s of millions of $, maybe even as much as $2 billion.
you are barking up the wrong tree, and using Yahoo as an example when there are 1000s of others, probably yourself included.

Thank you
Think of it this way Yahoo's money talks while poor adword campaigns walk.
I truly believe if others wrote to their adwords managers about such practices maybe things would get changed.
Yep. And if people voted for who they really wanted in office instead of who they thought was going to win as not to "waste a vote", maybe things would change.
If people would cut back on their non-necessary driving maybe gas prices would go down.
But it only works if everyone does it.
Most "sheeple" won't.
I just heard an analyst on the radio admit that gas companies don't worry too much about their prices because they know people won't stop driving/buying. I realize there are other issues involved, but I found this admission very telling.
Maybe if people stopped spending outragous money at the grocery store, prices would come down. Instead I see a woman the other day pick up a chuck roast for $2.99 a pound when the top round roast, a better piece of meat, was sitting right next to it for $1.49 a pound on sale. She didn't even look at the price tag!
Was she too embarrassed to check prices? Did she think the passers by would think it was low-class to comparison shop?
I'll be damned if I'm paying more for a poorer quality product!
More folks out there need to have "a pair" and speak up! Keep walking around with a defeatist attitude and we'll all keep getting screwed!
I appologize for being a tad inflamitory.
The teams that handle the two things are also entirely seperate.
So if one has an issue with Search, contacting AdWords support is not an effective way to approach it. All we can do is forward your comment internally to the same team you would reach if you used the email address mentioned below.
All in all, the best thing to do with Search related questions/comments/complaints is to contact the Search team at help@google.com.

Except that they get their paychecks from the same place...paid advertising
