Has anyone ever received one of these? Usually you have to try and discover fraud yourself with PPCs. It is good to know that Google is actively monitoring accounts and giving credits to those affected.

Did it actually state that it was a refund due to fraud? I wonder if they then charge back the refund to the perpetrator...

Yes it stated that they were for 'invalid clicks' and that Google prohibits artificially and fraudulent clicks.
