Why doesn't your Ad Word always show up?

Have purchased ad words for a category that no one else has bought, still..

I have purhcased an Adword for, eg. "green widgets." When I go to google to do a search it never shows up. In fact no Adwords show up.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

How soon after setting up your account did you look for your ad? This has happened to me before and I was told that it takes some time for all of their servers to be updated.
Another possibility is that you have a low daily limit and based on the average # of hits Google expects for your keyword, they will not always show your ad so you don't go over your limit

I should also welcome you to Webmaster World!

It has been a couple weeks. I don't think we would have exceeded our usage....

If you haven't already contacted them, you should do so and find out what the problem is.
You might also log into your account, and make sure that your ad has not been disapproved.

I'm pretty sure that is the exact wording of a question in their FAQ's and help section of adwords. HAve you tried that? There are various reasons why ads dont turn up.

We check that every day for ads with no spend.
These Googleplex editors come around more othen than anti-affiliate metas.

I tried the FAQ, and we are approved for the keyword.

Who should I email?
