Just visited Google to access AdWords account and I'm unable to find AdWords login page. No link from home page and on About page, the link appears to have been removed. Was there notice that I missed?

Interesting. Advertisers have to conduct a "search" for the account login page.

In my two years with AdWords I've heard of this a handful of times. Every time so far it was associated with some sort of newly installed (or automatically updated) Internet Security software.

Interesting. Advertisers have to conduct a "search" for the account login page.

Yes, the irony weighs pretty heavily. Tell me, though: why do I keep chuckling?

Next step: advertisers will have to do a keyword search for 'adwords login' and click on the right AdWords Ad. AdWords will then be charged a CPC for the advertiser to get to the login page.

Wow. My best idea so far this week!

AWA,

isnt it Friday, and should you not be getting the weekly report done.

I hear there are people waiting ;)

The Google home page does not have the "Advertise" page link, but a "Business Solutions" page link. Under "For Site Owners" the AdWords/AdSense text appears but the link is missing. Does firewall software remove/replace links?

It's still down? Any ideas? What's it been 4-5 days? Be nice to use the dang thing or get an idea what's happening with my account.

Hi Hardwood Guy. Just to clarify, when I said:

In my two years with AdWords I've heard of this a handful of times. Every time so far it was associated with some sort of newly installed (or automatically updated) Internet Security software.

...I didn't mean to imply that the AdWords system was down. Rather, I meant that every time in the past when the link to the login page was suddenly missing it was the result of new or updated Internet Security software on the advertiser's computer.

So if you're having this particular problem, I'd start looking at any Internet Security package you may have installed recently, or even in the past. Often, these packages will automatically update themselves online, and this may be what's occurred with you.

If none of this rings a bell, or you're having another sort of problem logging in, I hope you'll write to
adwords-support@google.com - being sure to include your account ID and email address.
