AdWords slow in updating data today?

Usually I don't bother too much about how fast AdWords figures update but today I activated a new account I want to keep a keen eye on because it has some high volume keywords.

It's been up and running for 6 hours or so (tested: ads show up in serps) but AdWords still says 0 impressions.

Whats best? Delay the campaign until I have figures? Could easily burn the whole budget during the night :(

It's 2 days now and still 0 impressions.

In the reports that is... I've seen them show up, asked others to check and the ads are there. Time to mail the AdWords team.

<added>Wow! reports started showing up while I was typing. We're not bankrupt - yet :)</added>

It sounds as if this might be related to the date range you are (or were) looking at HitProf.

You can always change the date range for which you are looking at your statistics, and many advertisers forget to check this before looking at their stats. So if you are looking at a date range during which you had no clicks and impressions, these are the stats you'll see.

It is also worth noting that the date range setting is a 'sticky setting', which stays where you put it until you change it again. And if you've never changed it, it'll be set to 'Yesterday' by default.

I've gotten in the habit of always checking the date range first thing whenever I look at an avertiser's account. Much confusion is avoided by doing this. ;)

Hope this may clear things up.
