Ok, for the past week, my Adwords Ad won't show up on any of the Google partner sites. I've checked my campaign settings several times, and I have everything checked correctly. I have both boxes checked (partner sites and content sites). My daily budget is triple what it needs to be. I am set to show ads in the U.S. and Canada. I have always shown up in the past for the partner sites, and I haven't changed anything. Anyone else experiencing this?

Any advice?

4crests, I'm just heading away from my desk so only time for a brief 2 cents. The three most common reasons, IMO, for ads not appearing on partner sites are:

* Ads have been edited, which pulls them down from all partner sites

* URLs have been edited, which also pulls them from partner sites

* Position of ad has moved down due to increased competition (or other factors) and ads are no longer in required position to go to partner sites

If none of these apply, then I'd suggest contacting AdWords support who can troubleshoot this for you by looking at your actual account.

Thanks for the reply.

None of the above apply.

Ok, will contact support.

The only thing I did recently was paused all my campaigns for about 3 weeks while I was on vacation. When I returned about 10 days ago, I turned them back on, and haven't appeared on partner sites since.

Just talked to a couple fellow Yahoo Store Owners. None of their sites have been showing up in Adwords partner sites either.

Anyone else here have a Yahoo Store and problems with Adwords?

Still not showing up in partner sites.

How long does AdWords support usually take to respond?

I wonder if I should contact them again?

Well, I work 7 days a week. Didn't even cross my mind it was Sunday today. They're all the same to me.

4crests, please see this thread for info on hours of operation, turnaround time, etc.:

Whew! That is real dedication. I used to do that myself back in a previous lifetime as a product designer - now I stick to five really long days!

I hope your issue is resolved very soon indeed.

thanks AWA.

Got an email today from Adwords. They tell me that my Ad is on the partner sites because it is running on AskJeeves. They go on to say that AOL and EARHLINK have their own criteria for choosing which Ads run on their networks.

That's it, that's all the explanation I got. Does anyone know what this means? My Ad has been running non-stop on AOL and Earthlink since the day Adwords began with partner sites. Why all of a sudden would they stop? And it happened when I returned from vacation. During my vacation, I had them all PAUSED for about a month. Now they won't turn back on.

I wonder if I should try tinkering with my Ad copy.

Why would other friends of mine who also have Yahoo Stores be also not showing up? Is there anyone else here with a Yahoo Store who is having this problem?

HELP!

Ok, I've talked to about 15 people now over in the Yahoo Store Forum that I frequent. They are all having the same problem. Their Ads aren't showing up on AOL or Earthlink.

Could have AOL and Earthlink BANNED all Yahoo.com url's from showing up on their SPONSORED LINKS?

If so, why would they do this?

I'm not aware of this, but I'll ask around and post again when and if I know more.

Potential business/policy decisions by partners falls well outside of my usual arena, so it may take me a day or two to find the right folks and pick their brains.

AWA... thanks for looking into it.

An interesting note... I talked to a few Yahoo Store owners who use their own domain (mydomainhere.com) and they aren't having the problem. It's only Yahoo stores that use the store.yahoo.com as their URL.

Thanks 4crests - that last bit may be good info to help me explore this.

AWA

Not sure what you did, but it seems to be fixed now. I also had multiple emails into Adwords Support, so I'm not sure which one of you fixed it first, but THANK YOU!

I had this problem too, but Adwords support told me that as far as AOL search goes, they only show the top 8 ads, and that some of their other partner sites only show the top 4 ads. They suggested I up my cpc a little to gain in position, and sure enough, it worked!

Wonderful... Thanks everyone. I thought I was going crazy. I must have looked at my Adwords Settings a hundred times. Please thank everyone at Adwords who worked on it.

Especially thanks to AWA and someone named SONIA at Adwords Support.

Well, I'm off to start my new Graphical Banner Adwords Campaign.
