I started a personal account and applied it. I did not see the $300 in my account balance so I left a question that was answered by Adwords Australia along the lines that no such offer has been made to Australian customers.
Has anyone recently, i.e. after 31 March, applied them successfully outside the US?

shman, these coupons are most typically handed out by AdWords at trade shows and industry conferences, to interested potential advertisers - and in some cases to existing advertisers as well.

I was originally using my usual email address but it is known as an AdSense login. It kept rejecting the account creation process with the "Our engineers have been notified" error. OK, I wasn't trying daily, so I can't recall dates.
It doesn't look good for me here.
On a related note, has anyone used an AdSense login to open an Adwords account recently?
Pardon me? I have him asked for a reconsideration. I gave the other one away. I used only one. Does not compute.
I had a problem activating my coupon which I had reserved for a mon commercial client. When I tried to activate it (a few days before it expired) the system said it had already been used!?
Several emails later an Adwords rep asked me to fax the coupon and email all the details about where and when and then they fixed it manually. It's running perfectly now.
nuthin like losing a 3 hundred dollar bill.

Well, maybe the person that found it really needed a new lease on life - and is now taking their first step towards financial independance as a successful affiliate advertiser. Or something.
