My Credit Card is declined on Adwords :(

what to do?

my card is being accepted by the majority of online services and it has successfuly woked in google adwords, but not long ago I see that my Card Declined when I am trying to refresh my Billing Preferences.

any suggestions?

Someone had to say it.

I've actually had trouble with AdWords wrongfully denying a credit card. So, you could either call G @ 1-866-2Google, or add a different credit card in the billing preferences.

You might also want to check with you credit card company. Sometimes they think they are protecting you by denying a purchase that appears to be drastically different from the other items purchased on your card (in case someone else is charging on your card).

ZagZag, if post 8 in the thread that eWhisper pointed to doesn't help you to pinpoint your issue, then my best advice would be to write to AdWords Support using the 'Contact Us' link within your account. Be sure to fill in all the fields in the header.

Or, as an alternative, use the toll-free phone number that has been posted here several times of late.

I hope you'll be up and running soon!

i just check all settings that recmmendet in [webmasterworld.com...] and it's seems ok, so i write message to google's support (using Contact Us link) with "ATTENTION ADWORDSADVISOR" in subject line, so i hope AdWordsAdvisor can control this.

i'm still very unhappy :(

at 22-April i get ansver from Yvonne that my request was reffered to technical tem and they'll contact me shortly but it's past 8 days and i'm doesn't get any ansver from them :(

what i need to do?

I had mine declined even through the cc was fine, so thought it may have been an error on Google's part/processing company, so I logged in and typed in the credit card number again and it worked/debited okay and the problem was fixed.

I think they tried debiting when it was daytime at Google and night here - night, when systems are commonly taken down for periods.

Get another card provider...I've had probs sometimes due to card companies not accepting payment from some online sites...fraud prevention...I'd phone your cc company and ask why it doesn't work

I've had the same with findwhat, my card was declined although I'am paying nearly every day with it on the internet without any problems. I called my bank but it was all ok with the card, my bank even called VISA directly and there was everything fine as well. There was no other way around than to get a new card, also from VISA but issued from another bank. And this card works. Maybe this is also the only thing you can do...

There has been a problem at google's billing for the last month-ish. It's supposed to have been fixed by now though.

My card was 'declined' last week too, rang my Google rep and account was up and running within the hour.

It's nothing to do with your credit card.

They work m-f standard west coast business hours in the U.S.

Couldn't tell you the international office hours.

To be even more specific, the phone hours are 7:00 am to 7:00 pm (Pacific Time), Monday thru Friday.
