I've now tried 4 different credit cards to pay my Adwords bill and Google have come back saying that they can't charge any of them. (I'm in the UK)
After several emails I am still banned from campaigning and Google don't seem to want my money.

Did you try calling them?

Mike, I recently had this problem, it took several phone calls and almost a week for them to finally accept my payment! and my campaigns to start up again.

I already started same thread a couple of days ago - I actually can't pay for a few weeks already and yesterday I finally got a letter from Google saying that they "will try to help" and that's it - no improvement so far.

Please could anyone sticky me their phone number please?

Are you using a UK debit card? If so, it was discussed here: [webmasterworld.com...]

This is happening to me right now, I am so mad at google! How can a GIANT have no 24 hour service? I am losing thousands of dollars! I also tried 4 to 5 credit cards and they will not accept them and I live in the US! How can I make them see me RIGHT now and at least save me Sunday's earnings? There is nothing wrong with my credit I have called and they are all good! What kind of software is Google Adwords using? Made in Mickey Mouse Land? E-mails don't work and shouting at my computer right now is not working, I am frustrated so please excuse my temper.

This problem is really strange. I am yet to call Google on Monday, but I can't understand WHY should I call and arrange payment whereas I have sent them about ten e-mails already? This whole issue is just wierd - they say that they try to respond within 24 hours but my credit card problem is not adressed for almost a month. I tried 6 different cards, from different banks - nothing helps. Now, have to call long distance.. what for I wonder? To beg Google sell me their service? It is also VERY strange that Googliers who see our discussions and concerns don't comment about this issue at all...

What's happening? GG? AWA? How about "sorry guys, we admit that something is wrong and hope to fix it ASAP, try again in a few days..." or something like that?

I don't have any information that would allow me to speak specifically to why your ten emails have not been answered, NazaretH - but the most common reasons, generally speaking, are:

* Emails were sent to wrong address (please use only adwords-support@google.com), and were not received.

* Emails did not provide any information to identify the advertiser or the account in question. This occurs with frustrating frequency, and is why using the 'Contact Us' link on each page our your account is your best option - as it automatically associates the email with the account concerned.

* Reply emails from adWords-support are being filtered by advertiser's email filtering, thus leading to the impression that they were not responded to. This is not uncommon, so it is worth checking both your filtering, and your 'junk' mailbox.

Now, have to call long distance.. what for I wonder? To beg Google sell me their service? It is also VERY strange that Googliers who see our discussions and concerns don't comment about this issue at all...

NazaretH, I didn't reply to this thread mainly because the right advice had already been given - to write or call. My apology if I failed to confirm this, although I've posted this same advice many times in past threads on the same topic.

To the best of my knowledge, there are no issues currently at work affecting the ability of the AdWords system to accept your credit card. Based on the very limited information that I've seen here, I'd guess that the problem revolves around a billing or policy issue with your account. And the best way to address this is, of course, to contact AdWords support, since they can view the account in detail, and make informed recommendations.

The phone number mentioned above is toll-free, btw.

Thank you AWA!

Call it a coincidence, but today I got a letter from AdWords team - long, detailed letter. (looks like Google did receive my letters and knew about my ID, which I always included into my letters and always wrote them from my account). And, surprisingly, I submitted one of my cards once again and everything turned on instantly!

The only thing that I can think of - the only thing different from what I did before is: I updated my password, e-mail, then billing address and only after I submitted my billing address I added the card number. Before I was butting in card information and address simultaneously and submitted it. That could be the reason of all problems - maybe others who experience similar problem may try this solution. Ok, now everything is fine. Thank you. (now increasing words list, CPC and making sound come back buzz :) )
