Can I use same keywords for a different company?

I am running 2 affiliate programs, BOTH are widget companys.
They would basically use the same keywords....Will I be compeating against myself by using the same words for each ad....OR should I come up with different keywords and take the chance of missing the "widget" market?
Full of questions?
P.S. I would be running these in separate campaigns....

Since you can't run two adverts on the same page you would not really be competing with yourself. But you will be showing ads alternately for the two companies so promoting each half the time.

I would run them both equally for a while and see which one gives a better return. In the long run I am sure you will do better sticking to one program, and putting all your effort into making it a success, rather than splitting your time between two similar programs.
