Don't know if I did it right, but quite sure I did. Could not find any mention of how long it takes for a campain to go online... anyone?

Check back to see if the ad was disapproved.
Should go live the same day.
Then an editor will check it and MAY disapprove for some reason like too many CAPS or something.

ads are approve immediately. Just if you make any thing wrongm you will receive an email later saying your ads is disapproved. But by then your ads might have been display for a few times.

Campaigns generally go live within 20 to 30 minutes. If your campaign hasn't and if your ads haven't been disapproved, contact AdWords Support.

What do you mean by an *editor*? A person and not a program code?

pretty much, if the words used trip the code, then if its a questionable area, an editor at the adwords team will check to see why and write to the user, promting certain changes

My recent experience is that on the 1st disapprove they don't seem to write anymore.

If you notice that you have a disapproved ad and make some changes that are again disapproved they notify you in writing the second time.

That is the way it SEEMS to be working this month.

PS: I just discovered you have a MAX of 25 Campaigns per account.

MAX of 25 Campaigns per account.

25 different campaigns? You certainly seem to be signing up for lots of affiliate programs :)

Ugh, I know. Thankfully I haven't hit a maximum ads per campaign yet, though that might exist too.

Way back when I considered opening a second account. If you're big enough i'm sure they wouldn't mind. But in my case I just combined some stuff to stay under the limit.

If you have good ads in all 25 campaigns though - it could be rough to sort out. Just have to figure out where to put those new ads ;p

(A move ad function would be useful, eh?)
