Hey All,
Does anyone know a way to Search through Google Ad Words without getting the Randomness of ads?

I would like to be able to see how many ads stand for a term so I can try to see who is bidding and where.

Does anyone know? I know that Keywords Analyzer and Adwords analyzer count how many campaigns are going on.

Does anyone know a specific place to search in google to get this info?
Let me know
Thanks

Hey webman1, welcome to WebmasterWorld!

Didn't see your post till now, but thought I'd jump in late rather than never.

While the ads may appear to be random, they really aren't. Rather than being random, they are instead constantly changing according to several factors.

The AdWords system is basically showing all available ads (meaning all those that are budgeted to show at that moment of the search), and showing them in rank order based on a combination of Max CPC and CTR.

So the short story is that the ads will not necessarily show in the same order from one search to the next, nor is it a given that the same group of ads will show.

I would like to be able to see how many ads stand for a term so I can try to see who is bidding and where...Does anyone know a specific place to search in google to get this info?

I am sorry to say that, given the factors mentioned above, there is not a way to see exactly how many competitors you have in the overall sense. In a given moment you can of course see this by searching on your word and looking at the actual results.

Frankly, though, I wouldn't recommend getting in the habit of doing this - as it can end up affecting your CTR.
