Keyword approval delays

Has approval process changed from auto-activation?

I just added about 10 keywords yesterday (about 20 hours ago) and they don't show up in test searching or show any results. Some of these are relatively high-volume and should be seeing thousands of impressions at the very least.

I would look at tracking delays, but all my other campaigns have tracking info coming in just fine.

Is it possible that certain categories/keywords are flagged for manual approval before going active? I haven't run into this before, but this is a category where it might be likely that Google has something like that in place (prescription drugs).

I'm curious if anyone has had similar experiences.

Yep, some keyword categories are sensitive and will be checked first. You can mail support to expedite this.

Thanks. I did send a note over to support to see about these.

Any ideas out there on the timeframe for the approval on sensitive topics? Does it usually take a day or is it more like 2 or 3?
