1. When you sign up, does the URL you give become your permanent account URL?

When I signed up for Amazon affiliate status, they, too, asked for a URL. I entered the one I was working on at the time. As it turns out, I'm now stuck with that, even if I were to take it down. So I think I would be smart to start with my own URL, even if that's NOT the site I want to start a campaign for.
2. When you want to set up a campaign for different URLs, do you have to sign up all over again? I doubt it, but can you designate which site the campaign is for?
I've been going through all the tutorials I can find about AdWords, but haven't seen these 2 items addressed.

Which kind of answers the next. No, you don't have to resign up. You can use different campaigns for different URLs if you would like. The campaigns and adgroups can be grouped however you like.
