Just noticed a strange thing, here is the scenario:

We have a page www.widget.com - this has a page rank of 3 - after we added the source=google link from adwords it seems to give the page a different page rank, it just happens to be 1 :(

The link to the page in now www.widget.com/index.htm?source=google

Why is it seeing it as a different page? - No points from an adword link then?

Would be nice if google gave its page rank to the higest adword client per page.

If you add the "?source=google" after your URL your page rank is always lower than the page without the? label. That's just the way google "ranks its rank" and nothing to worry about, you main page still has the same rank.

Just try it by typing it on the address bar.

So why do the top ten of any serps now contain 50% auto generated dmoz "modified" clones which sometime dont even contain an "href" in their pages ( and therefore can't possibly "link" out to their supposed content ..so in what way are they authorities? )...

What they all have is adwords...

At the tops .. or the bottoms or the sides...

Only place they don't have adwords ( Yet! ) is in the status bars ....

And the day they can "index" javascript ...they'll do it in a heartbeat....

Oh and what isn't auto directories and the like is Sp*mazon or k*lkoo or even more stuff with adwords ..
