Can I find out how many times my keyword is searched for on the net?

Hello,

It there a tool that will tell me how many times my key word, "widget," is searched for on search engines per day?

I am inching closer to starting my Goodle AdWords and and curious if the searches are in the hundreds or millions per day.

Thanks in advance.

I am talking about world wide searches, not specific search engines. ;)

For a rough guess you could probably take the Overture numbers and multiply by 2 or 3.

**** also provides estimates but I agree with Skibum. I think that the absolute number of impressions is not what counts, but their relative value does (red widgets has 20% more impressions than blue widgets). For that you can use overture or the smaller PPC engines like findwhat.

I don't think any search term is in the millions/day.
