I've been tracking conversions with Adwords since it was introduced and am planning to take the best keywords and use these to optimize our site (we have a very healthy Page rank).

I know some of you have experience with this and like to know what to expect from SERP conversions vs the adwords conversions?

This is a very broad question.

I have some terms that we have both ads for and come up in the top ten in natural listings.

This is my experience, but doesn't necessarily hold true for everyone. When we have both an ad and a natural listing for the same term, this is what I've seen.

For the more broad KWs, AdWords conversions for these terms is higher than our SERP results.

For our specific terms, our conversion rates are pretty much identical between adwords and natural serp listings.

Thanx eWhisper,

We are using mostly specific (exact) terms, on some of which we already do well on the SERP's.

The thing is that we do not track SERP clicks on specific terms so we cannot compare at this point. We do track our position for specific terms on Google SERPS. The only thing I notice is that sales goes up :-)

Can you sticky me on what you are using to track SERPS?
