For several hours that my campaigns are not running.
I do not have a reason for because they let run.
To some it has happened to him the same?
:(

Same thing happened to me, my campaigns froze. I created new campaigns, didn't work. I finaly had to use a second credit card and open another acount (paying another $5 fee), create all my campaigns again, and get them running.

My old acount is still there, frozen and useless. If you do find a way to get yours working, please post a message here.

Hi Fryman,
I created another account in Adword (paying another $5 fee) with other CC, but my new campaigns are frozen too.
These new campaigns, Adwords never showed them.
How I can solve this problem!

Did you contact AdWords support to see why they are not running?

It is possible that you were advertising for a term G deemed as trademarked or was flagged for containing certain 'sensitive' KWs that they manually review.

If you account is ever to the point that you're losing potential clients by not advertising at all, give them a call to figure out the problem, one call can save you a lot of time in speculating the problems.

My campaigns froze on January 21. Two email messages to Google have not been responded to. Perhaps it is the sales conference?

I had an ad 'freeze' also, in early January (It was -10F here in Boston. Maybe that's why). I created a new ad with the same keywords & related settings and it took over where the old one left off.

The original ad was *not* listed as disabled nor were any keywords at risk or disabled nor was there anything inappropriate about the ad.

What I did note on the original ad was that, the 'picture' of the ad and the "Edit" button disappeared, even though the keywords were still there.

Its like part of Google's database, for my one ad, got corrupted.

I have had the same problem. We have several accounts for different clients, all under different credit cards. First they stop serving ads for no reason. CTRs are high, billing is fine.

Then they reject the cards. The cards have a lot of room on them, and they are not linked to each other as they are for unrelated clients.

I have called and emailed every day to no response. Every time someon says they will cal me back, they never do.

Im so angry.

Okay..I'm new to this whole Adword thing and have had the same problem trying to run my first campaign.

What is the deal with Google's system?
Do they always have this problem?
Are there any other search engines you would recommend to run adword campaigns with that are good? and actually has a support staff that is willing to call you back or reply to your emails!

This is extremely fustrating!

I'm having the same thing. 2 accounts (targeting different countries for different sites, no overlap, and paid for with different CCs) both died. All ads stopped running, nothing in the control panel explains why.

One possibility is my server was down for 24 hours, so both sites were offline at about exactly the time the ads died. Maybe they froze the ads because of this?

I've emailed and phoned them, will post here anything I hear.

Weekends are not a great time to expect a response.

Maybe Monday?

OK, got a reply from Google in reply to my email about 1 of my accounts. They just said that it appeared that the account had been placed on hold while one of the Specialists reviewed it, but their record showed the ads were now running again.

No apology, no real explanation of why they paused it.

Perhaps they just thought I needed waking up?

If they're going to do stuff like this the very least they could go is send a warning email when they do it, so we don't sit here puzzling about what's happened.

I sent several campaigns live 14 - 15 days ago - and they just got reviewed by an 'Adwords specialist'.

Two weeks to review the ads!

I think I now understand why Eric Schmidt has delayed the Google IPO - Adwords just isn't a scaleable system. It requires too much human intervention, and as a result, the 'system' can't cope with its own success.

One other ad was for a big football final - I'm still waiting for the approval of the campaign - despite the 'event' being over! Having to wait until AFTER the event, after the designated campaign finish date, would be a little pointless .........

At least I now understand why they delayed the IPO......

I am experiencing the very same problem.
And you know what's frustrating? The more you adjust campaigns according to keyword status, the higher the chance you'll get stopped. Now I would not call this an incentive to ameliorate the campaigns!

I had a well performing keyword blocked, while all other keywords were "green". Yet, they were not running neither. I've made some changes to that campaign, and also to the other two campaigns that were running in my account. They had some red kw but most were green. Guess what happened? All campaigns stipped running altogether after my changes.

Now, that's frustrating

Thanks Hobbnet.

I did call Google and though it took three separate phone calls over a couple weeks we did get the problem resolved. They said that it was some kind of glitch with my account that would require the creation of a new account. They did this themselves and did not charge me the $5 startup fee.

The three people I talked with were all extremely nice and apologetic.

Well done Google.

I just wish I could get my sites un-penalized!
