Has anyone had trouble logging into Adwords? I registered about 2 months ago for a look see and wanted to get back into the program to start a campaign. Now it says, "unauthorized to review this page." . Thinking I may have forgotten the password, I went to reset it and then is shows me a message that saying, "an engineer has been notified of this problem" ...yada, yada, yada.

Sent a few emails, but no response....any ideas?

Even the autoresponder isn't keeping up. I filled out two Contact us forms (after logging in) but only one automated reply came back. It mentions delays in replying during the holiday season.

In one of my ad groups about 80% of the keywords fail to trigger ads and I doubt if they have all hit 100,000 impressions to date, but many are major money makers. I suspect a technical problem.

I realized that passwords are the same for both Adsense & Adwords... it works for 'sense, but not for 'words. It has been doing this for a week now, so I am hoping I hear a reply soon, yet I haven't received any auto replys? I will go around the bend to find a different way to contact them so I can get this program going.

Thanks for your support!

If at anytime, the system is keeping your business from running properly, I'd give G a call. Usually, what could cause you to wait for days from a reply email can take 10 minutes on the phone to correct.

Sorry if you've had a delayed response. This is due to a combination of factors, notably a seasonally high volume of email queries, combined with Holiday schedules.

We are back in full swing now. So I trust that you'll have your response quickly.

BTW, please note that AdWords does not use an auto responder. Every email is actually read by a real person, who then sends an appropriate response. To be sure, many of these responses are at least partially pre-written (OK, lets just say it: at least partially 'canned'). But in virtually every case, before a response is sent your account is reviewed - and the 'canned' response is then tailored to actually answer your specific questions.

Thank you very much for your response! I did get an email this morning.

I was told I couldn't use the same email address login for both adwords & adsense ( which I did when I signed-up for both and even paid the Adwords activation fee.

What do I do now? Will they transfer it?

Thanks again!

I've done a bit of looking into this, and it seems to be a thorny issue for a very small number of folks. Sorry you are one of these few!

My first suggestion: if you can get into either account, then please log in. Once there you can change the email address associated with that account, leaving the email address free for the other account.

If you can't get into either account, then please write to AdWords support and give as much information as possible to help them locate both accounts. If you can recall the Customer IDs, that would be ideal of course.

Please also include the email address, the name of the person who created the accounts, business name, and so forth.

(I hope it is ok for me to mention the email address here. It is adwords-support@google.com.)

In your email be sure to state that your issue is concerning AdWords and AdSense accounts created in a short time frame, with the same email address - and ask that the email be forwarded to the Tech Team.

We'll get to work on it.

Thank you AdwordsAdvisor - I am still able to log into the adsense account and it allows me to me to change everything BUT the login in email address :)

To save some time with correspondence, can I just re-register using a different email address?

PS I just want to say thank you for the time spent on this board, your help and contributions here are greatly appreciated!

My pleasure, and thanks for saying so!

Yes, you could do this to save time. To be on the safe side though, you'd want to use two new email addresses, and create both a new AdWords account, and a new AdSense account.

With that said, I still hope you'll write in. This glitch has occurred in a literal handful of cases, and having your information would help the tech folks to track down the problem.

And of course, we'd want to get you into the duplicate accounts, so that you could delete them. ;)

BTW, please note that AdWords does not use an auto responder.

I guess I took "Thank you for your message. This auto-generated email is to confirm that we received your inquiry." too literally ;)

In the end our account manager answered the emails.
