Our advertising costs have really gone up.

Are there any advantages to googles 'full service' accounts that bill 10,000 a month that i am not seeing?

Am i better off manaing my own adwords than turning everything over to google?

What about all my competetors who currently occupy the 'top spot' on the paid google ads. Are they running full service, or do they have some sort of contract?

Do i remember reading that the special contracts google once had are going to expire on the first of the year, and then its going to be a free-for-all?

After talking to Google about running an adword campaign, I was told the same thing as of the 1st Jan 2004, it is a free for all, ONE BIG AUCTION for top stop every day... Sounds Exciting, but also expensive, I wonder if google has been talking to ebay lately?
