Hi

Ive just resumed my google campaigns after a 3 week break. Normally when restarting in this way Google does things immediately and you can see your ads straight away etc. You can also change mac cpc and in realtime see your ads shoot up and down as desired.

I say "normally" because today some odd things have been happening. Ive read the threads on ads not appearing and titles going missing etc but I havent seen anything re editing delays particularly on cpc's.

It took me around 1 hour to get my campaign visible today (my budget is high enough to guarantee a presence usually throuout the day).

Does anyone know if there is now a delay (Maybe its only minutes) in viewing edited campaigns? Any other problems that people are seeing?

To be honest I love this model to bits and can safely say Adwords pees all overthe competition in just about every way. Theve set the bar very high - and Im not going to start slagging them off.

Just need to know whether their "realtime" performance is slowing down.

Could be G is having a bad week / day.

If titles are missing this could be a sign that you have an ad blocker (for example the one included in Norton Internet Security) installed.

But it is also possible that there is something wrong with the Adwords system. Unfortunately there is no easy way to check.

Hello Everyone,

I came to this forum because I am unable to log into my adwords account since Tuesday evening. :(

I am not hearing anything about google server problems in the news, and was trying to find out if anything was going on?

I cleared temp files and cookies, no success. Going through the site or different browsers. I do not know what to do anymore. The adwords page comes up as unavailable.

Does anyone have an idea? Thanks for any possible help.

AimeeE, I just happened to log in for a few minutes this morning before starting my 'day job', and saw your post.

Sounds as if this may be a security settings issue. Please see if the following steps will help.

In Internet Explorer

1. Select 'Tools' from the browser menu.
2. Select 'Internet Options.'
3. Select the 'Advanced' tab.
4. Under 'Security,' check both 'Use SSL 2.0' and 'Use SSL 3.0.'

In Mozilla/Netscape Navigator

1. Select 'Edit' from the Navigator browser menu.
2. Select 'Preferences.'
3. Select the arrow next to 'Privacy/Security' in the side menu. 4. Select 'SSL' from the sub-menu. 5. Check both 'Enable SSL Version 2' and 'Enable SSL Version 3.'

I am guessing this will take care of it. I sure hope so, anyway!

THANK YOU *AdWords Advisor*!

Apparently my security settings had changed for some reason. I have just moved this past week and have changed isp. I also upgraded to aol9.0, so maybe the download operated a change?

Anyway, it is now resolved and I was able to log in and finally check my campaigns.

I am very appreciative of your help! Thanks again :)

For what it's worth: added new ad groups/keywords to an existing campaign at about 14:30 GMT-1; new ad groups still not active at 19:00 GMT-1.
