I found Google is running AdWords campaign while searching specified keyword on www.google.com in Chinese.
Goole must bid a price for that keyword, its position is #1 on right. Does google really pay for that keyword?
BTW: There is a basic spelling error on Google's Chinese Ad description. I think Google should employ more professional Chinese team to do this serious business. The basic spelling error exposed to the millions Chinese Internet users.
It is not unreasonable that they may pay outside people to manage their own campaign on their own ad network; there are skills involved in PPC management after all, and whilst Google provide the platform, others outside may well be "better" at playing it - just as the World's greatest Piano player doesn't necessarily work for the World's greatest piano manufacturer.
One basic spelling error occured on your Chinese AD
.
In Chinese, search engine is "ËÑË÷ÒýÇæ", but not "ËÑË÷ÒýÇÚ".
BTW:200 million searches each day, NOT means 200 million visitors every day. Your guys are aggrandizing the fact of Google search. The Ad campaign said "Expose your site to 200 million customers every day", that is NOT true.
IMHO, the campaign manager should not agree that kind of Ad£¬and please do not fool Chinese.

I think I know why your guys use ËÑË÷ÒýÇÚ but NOT ËÑË÷ÒýÇæ{=Search Engine} in your Ad description now.
As I know, the word "ËÑË÷ÒýÇæ" (in English means "Search Engine") is forbidden on Google AdWords. My God! You can not use it as a keyword, write it in headline, and anywhere in Google Ad. Since this word is very popular on internet.
Few months ago, on of Google employees answered my questions on this thing, and he/she said, he/she had forwarded my email to relevant department, and you guys are working on this problem. Few months later, Google still can not resolve this LITTLE problem. I am very disappointed at this. And now Google is enjoying its own pain.
BTW: 4 emails sent to Google customer care department within 14 days, no one was replied. I will give Google a oversea call tomorrow, and complain about this.
