I used to use www-sj.google.com (until it ceased) to see my ads in the US, and now use Proxify.
However, I stumbled across a Google query URL with '&gl=us' at the end which showed me search results AND Adword ads as seen by US searchers. (in case it does not come out in this post; it is 'ampersand' followed by 'gl=us'.)
So I tried a search on www.google.com.au and then added the suffix and voila, US ads appeared.
On the SAME query I replaced the suffix with '&gl=uk' and got UK ads.
Same with '&gl=ca' for Canada.
Is this new, well known, unknown, not reliable?
To make it clear-
1. Go to your country Google web site.
2. Create a query, can be advanced
3. Run the query
4. Ads for your country will be shown.
5. Add '&gl=us' at the end of the URL in your browser
6. See US ads.
For US members try '&gl=uk' for the UK.

When I now use the &g=us I do get the US ads however when I use a well known US proxy to see the same search I get a different set of search results although the AdWords are the same.
My conclusion is that Google serves up a different set of search results for US ISPs or known proxy servers. Without being able to use specific search terms I guess there is no way to validate this. If someone based in the US and using a normal ISP wants to sticky me we could compare results and prove this once and for all.
