I need some help here. Google adwords sent me an email stating they paused my ad because I needed to make some changes in order to be within the guidelines.
Here's the funny part. I cannot make changes to my ad per their request because google themselfs paused it and when its in pause mode there is no edit button to make changes to the ad itself.
How am I suppose to accomodate their request when their tools to edit it does not allow when paused by google which cannot be overridden?
Has anybody ever encounter this? If so how do you correct this problem?
I have been going back and forth with adwords about it but I don't think they get it. Please Advise. Thanks!
The same thing for Ad groups within a campaign: if you go into the campaign, there's a dropdown list that says "Show only active ad groups." Changing that to "Show all but deleted ad groups" will show paused ad groups as well as active.
That has worked for me before.
I am not aware of any circumstance in which Google will 'Pause' a campaign or Ad Group. In fact, no one in customer service may make such a change in your account without your written request.
I am guessing that you mean that an ad was 'disapproved'?
In any case, if a campaign is paused, you can simply click the 'Resume Campaign' link. Then if you go to the Ad Group in question, the 'Edit' link will be visible under the ad itself.
Click that link, and make the desired changes. Then, save the changes, and your ad is resubmitted.
