Is there some way of finding competitors highest bids without raising ur own penny by penny?

I don't know for sure if it gives you exact numbers but if you raise your bid to $50 you can see the predicted cost per click. I assume this is the cost of your competitor.
In some cases though I think it is just the software fooling you into paying more. I have seen predicted cpcs of a dollar, but I still got the number 1 slot for a few cents.
