Usually normal delivery is not this slow, wonder whats going on!? They obviously havent sent the cheques on the date listed (27th). Wonder why they still say it has been sent on that date.
Btw I dont use adwords.
I wonder if anyone has received their cheques in India through standard delivery?

Oh and it simply couldn't be a problem with the ultra modern, industry leading Indian postal service could it? It just has to be Google's fault as you say it obviously is.
Hasnīt it occured to you that the fact that all these complaints come from India and not other countries proves that the fault lies in the Indian postal service?

Dont speak without knowing anything about the Indian postal service. The postal service is excellent in India even though they might not be 'modern', I dont remember losing any mails. Also the postal guy knows us my name, I have received mails even with the address totally screwed up, is that the same case where you live?
First of all adsense isnt my only source of revenue and I have got each and every overseas mail on time from many years. (and have received them for this month too)
There is definetly something wrong with the payments (Im not saying its google's fault, I think they outsource this work) as so many people not getting the cheques is wierd.
Also the earthquake affected pakistan and very northern parts of India. Nowhere near where I stay, so that isnt the reason.
By the way do check out the thread on cheques delayed in Australia on this same board.

In this case anyway its G who is at fault. So far (much more than a year) my checks have been on time.
btw, am also waiting myself, it is indeed late this time.
Google said -
"If you haven't received your payment processed in September by the 25th of October, please email us at adsense-support@google.com and include the number, date and amount of the check that you would like reissued. We'll credit the payment to your account and include it with any additional earnings in the next payment cycle."
But payment for last month would already have started processing by the 25th, so I think they mean they will add it to next months payment cycle.
Dont send request to cancel the "supposedly" lost check and reissue the payment with the next check immediaately after 25th. Please wait till the end of the month.
I was embarassed when I got the "supposedly" lost check, the day after I sent the request. Then I had to send an email again to google requesting them to cancel my earlier request.
Their reply : this time we accept your request, next time we may not.
So dont be hasty in sending the request. Wait till the end of this month atleast. or ask google when is the "last day" before you can request for a repayment (I think it is the 15th of the next month).
Whenever you ask - the first day or the last day - the payment will come with the next check only. So give max. time for the "supposedly" lost check to arrive.
Normally I receive checks on 5th-10th for 2 years, so around Sept 15th I start to worry, and on 25th request to reissue the payment. On Oct 1st the "lost" check arrives without posting date on envelope.
But differently from you, I decide to be nice and go through payment-cancelled, amount-added-to-next-payment-cycle procedure, at this point I still trust Google more than postal service, thinking "well I requested the reissue myself so let it be"... ha ha, naive me. Will happen probably in 3 months? Even if they act today, I will not see July money before Christmas.
So my best advice - wait at least until first days of next month, before asking to reissue the check. And my guess is the problem does not lie in postal service.

Better, get the money in your local currency, which is faster and prompt. This lets the local google to process the payment - lesser handling by postal service - your check may not have to travel across continents and countries.
