I turned a couple of ads off just before it went south, bit the dust, whatever, and my income-everything took a small dip but went up again. Now the clicks are a lot less but price per click is up and earnings are up consistently.
I turned off an irrelevant ad that was riding under cover using an ad that appeared to match my content but when clicked it was a jewelry site. The other was a scraper/scammer that was selling watches. A long list of the same great bargains (insert watch name) bargain starting at 99.00. a Loooong list (sort of put you in mind of the guy on a corner, "wanna buy a watch" and pulling up his sleeve to show an armful of watches going up to his elbow. LOL!

1) Print on demand companies
2) Ads with bad grammar
3) Ads which promote a single item (such as an author's poorly designed site out to sell their first book)
Regardless, it's very rare that the targeting is completely off, and I have yet to see an ad which is to a site which should be banned.
My CTR has been WAAAAAY (about 30%) down since exactly the time the toolbar has been "broken", but other things were going on that could have affected my CTR -- but maybe not... it seems to be doing well again.
Time will tell.
Cool.
