Try tracking your check buy calling your local DHL call center and ask your tracking ID. In that way, you will have an idea where is your check at any given time.

To Spain they were taking about 5 days. I now use EFT.

They used to take about a week to reach Denmark. I would imagine Sweden would be the same.

Here in Belgium I used to get checks just as fast as people in the U.S. (in fact even a few hours earlier..) but nowadays it takes quite a few days (sometimes more than a week) longer than about a year ago.
