Lower Adsense Earnings?

Anyone else experienced a noticable drop in adsense earnings in the last week?

My clicked have halfed and the value off them has fell a lot too.

Real tailoff at the end of September, hoping it's end of the quarter effect and will see an upswing next week.

Hi,

AS is always volatile, but as has been pointed out elsewhere this was not only the end of the month (eg end of the pay-packet) but also the end of the quarter so many advertisers will run out of budget until new targets are set, etc.

I had one very poor day and then recovered. Wait a week and things should be back to "normal"!

I had a bad start to september compared to august but it turned out to be better than august at the end of them month.

last week for me has seen my earnings increase but thats not at all supprising as I have had more traffic to the site?

September was my best month ever (more traffic than any other month). Unfortunately, the last couple days seem to have dropped off drastically. Category is books.

I'm down 90% for the past week. It was ugly.

I'm almost with you on this one - dropped to 50% of earning. Wrote a letter to google - got the standard reply - "Nothing wrong with your site" etc,etc. Gotta give it more time I guess - time is a wonderfull thing - It's just that I'm running out of nails to bite.

Still down today, but weekends are always the slowest.
It slipped my mind that it was the end of the quarter, atleast i am not the only one experiencing it.

Gonna be the worst day I've had in all of 2005 today, barring a click dump. Can't seem to track down the problem, but it seems my traffic nosedived. Oh joy.

Mine is down about 50% since last week of September. It is directly related to the big update that happened in MSN. MSN had a pretty huge update around the 25th of September, so if you see i drop, it is most likely because of that.

September was my highest ever month

Sept. was OK for me, even the end of the month. Start of month is always a bummer for me. Best days in middle of month. Saturday and Sunday are now my worst days due to my focus on football - everybody comes to my site during the week and then is presumably busy watching the games.

Sunday is really the pits during football season, but that is just part of the game.

Today, my numbers are horrible. Will likely be the low day of the month and hopefully improve from there.

If MSN updated, that's probably why I'm down 50% since the end of Sept. Guess I'll go apply at the local 7-11. Maybe they're hiring.
