AdSense - for Romanian users

I'm from Romania.
You will receive the check by Secure Delivery (25$) in about 3-4 days after send date.
I've just received mine today (sent on 27 sept)

You can deposit the check on any romanian bank and after huge fees, you will receive the money in ~ 30 days in your account.

Can the check be recived by standard mail, not courier? I get most of my letters from USA in about 3 weeks. How huge are the bank fees when you extract the check?
I would be very grateful if you could take 5 minutes for more questions (maybe you can give me your e-mail?)
I opted for standard delivery, ofcours now I'm affraid that the check wont get here...

Nothing to worry about. Checks sent via regular mail arrive in a week to 10 days. Bank fees are not that high: 1.5% (usually there's a minimum of $5). It does take a month to get the $.

Vivalasvegas are you talking about Romania or some other country. It sound to good to be true, after what Mentat said about the "huge" bank bills.

It varies from country to country and from bank to bank in each country. Like, I know it's expensive in Armenia.

Well that is a good ideea, but for secure delivery you must make more that 100 $ a month. If you make 100 a month I don't think its such a great ideea paing 25 $ for secure delivery. Better wait a few weeks until it arives, and if it doesen't arive I understand that you can ask G for another one.

Hello there from Hungary,

My first check arrived something like 10 days after it had been posted - without secure delivery.

With a residential bank account it's something like $4 to cash the check, with my business account the bank charges $15 for accepting it.

So, if there is a flat fee at the bank, you'd better accrue more on your AdSense account, and cash a check of, say, $500, instead of cashing $120 checks - four times the bank charges.

Hello from Serbia. Since we are neighbours I believe that there is no too much difference. Checks are not sent from United States but from Ireland or Sweden and they usually arrive in 10 days and 2-4 days if you use secure delivery. For check deposits I use HVB Bank (I'm sure that I've seen one in Bucuresti on my last visit). They charge me 0.6% fee and checks clear in 15 days. I hope that the terms are similar in Romania too...

From Romania here.. i recomand curier its fast but the bank process your check in 30 days (Reiffiesen Bank) and thats nasty..
