Why can't I see my overall Income in Reports?

I've been around in circles many times trying to figure out exactly where I stand with my overall earnings on AdSense. I recall this was once easy. Then I added channels a few days ago, and I can't seem to generate a report that tells me how much overall I have earned since June, when I joined. I can see last month, this month, but the all time report simply doesn't show. The reports are way too complex. There are som many #$%^ing optiions! Can't for the life of me figure it out. Can anyone offer a simple step-by-step? All I want to know if where I stand overall...

That is what the custom date drop down is for. Enter the start date of June 1, 2005 and the end date of June 30, 2005, do not select any channels and use aggregate data, and voila, your overall June earnings. Or select the end date of today's date and you can see what you have earned to date since June 1st.
