First 5-days of September = $115.57

Hi everyone, I’ve been lurking around here for about two months now. When I first found this site I had one blog that was almost a year-old and making about $2 a day. Because of some of the advice I’ve found here, I now have 4 blogs that I update daily. The most I’ve made in a month was $85.07 (last month, August). So, far for the first 5-days of September my total = $115.57 averaging $23.11 a day!

I do not think it will continue because the blog’s content is related to an event that was currently in the news. But during that time it received 43,000 hits and 28,423 unique hits. Thanks guys!

Wrong way to look at it. Right way to look at it is how many regular readers can you pick up to take advantage of the burst of traffic?

But during that time it received 43,000 hits and 28,423 unique hits.

You can convert that to a couple of thousand regulars - people talking about your posts, people linking to your blog. The Bruce "brand" just went up a notch.

Don't waste the opportunity - capitalise on it.

Next target for you is $50 a day, and you can achieve it - this was a healthy kick-start for you.

This keeps up you might make around $700 this month - going from $85 last month - hope this doesn't trigger any red lights. Let's hope you're doing everything clean.

Yes my traffic was from SE's.

48,565 Page loads
31,829 Unique Visitors
1,669 Returning Vistors

I went from around 20 clicks a day to 85 clicks a day. Yesterday I made another $25.09. Total now up to 137.90 for the month, which is a few dollars short of my total for July & August.

You know you are able to rank well in SERPs for current events. That is great for you. Make more entries in your blogs about the type of current events that brought you all that traffic. Use whatever optimization you used for that page on all your pages.
