Hello,

Are there any way to detect the best advertisers for our site so that we can eliminate worse ones?

Are there any such feature in adsense? Or do you use a script for this? (maybe detecting the click targets?) And is it legal of course?

Thanks.

I'd be very careful about blocking sites. It can work well, but it can also work against you.

I block ebay, and any site that is clearly made for adsense. That way, I see lots of ads from advertisers wanting to sell actual products and services to my visitors, as opposed to adverts from other webmasters wanting my traffic to click on the same ads on their site.

Blocking works for me, but it may well work against you for a multitude of reasons - each site is different. One thing smartpricing seems to hate is rapid change - it always reacts badly in my personal experience. So if you are blocking sites, block them gradually, not in huge wads. Also, try to avoid blocking irrelevant ads as they may not be irrelevant to your visitors. Obviously if they are simply after your traffic then that's a different matter.

If they are buying traffic as opposed to selling products and services then I personally block them.

"if they are buying traffic ..."

That, I guess, is a good summary of the best practices for adsense ad blocking. Well done!
