But what I really wanted to ask was ... Google sent me a check for my June Payments on July 26th ... that check has still not reached! Its over a month now .. I dont think it shud even take that long.
I am in India.
Is there any way I can find out if its stuck or something?

i guess it depends on the UK Bank...we have one of the worst banking systems in the world with the 17th century clearing system. They may allow you to touch that money but if it is showing a forward date of 30th august, donīt be surprised if they shaft you for overdraft charges if you withdraw it before then.
i'm with Lloyds TSB and there is no sign of the EFT yet.
is it normal practice with all International Courier services or its just DHL?

Last cheque I got from google arrived in 2 business days.
It used to be mailed from New York, NY in USD currency, but I switched payment type over to CDN Dollars. Does anybody have any information relating to where Canadian Currency cheques are mailed from?

Last month - payment date 26-Jul-2005, funds in account 29-Jul-2005 (3 working days).
This month - payment date 24-Aug-2005, funds in account 30-Jul-2005 - eg around today? (3 working days)
It's because of the delaying effect of the weekend + bank holiday Monday you see.
