How Did You Come to Know About AdSense?

Just curious and I hope if this thread goes, everybody will love to read it. Just this is an innocent question.

About 2 years ago in August 2003 I saw a little ad in a tech site I do not remember. I searched a lot and finally found the AdSense page and instructions. Those days, no of publishers were few. I signed up and accepted in 3 days. Still it is fine on my site.

What about yours?

I saw it running on a couple of sites and wondered what it was. I then searched a bit and subscribed.

worth1000.com introduced them on their site, I checked them out, applied, got denied.
Started a new, better site, applied again, got accepted, earned cash.:)

I seem to remember a circular or an article from the Adsense team, maybe Google, promoting it or something similar prior to launch.

Checked it out, thought it was a good idea and went with it:-)

I definitely knew about it before seeing it on any sites...too many hours peering into my x-ray box has befuddled the grey cells.

I remember reading this thread before AdSense had been publicly relased - it was only available on a few of the advertising networks.
