Whats the BEST way to add more Pages to my Site?

I have a couple new sites with very little (but s-l-o-w-l-y increasing) traffic.
Adding my own content is a daily practice, but it seems like too slow a process to build meaningful pages the site.
Can anyone suggest the best ways to add MASSIVE numbers of pages to a site (forums, blogs(?), newsfeeds, etc) so that I can get noticed by the search engines and build incoming links?

Don't. If you really want to "get noticed by the search engines" don't do that. Google already started using algorithms to filter out scraper sites. But most importantly, scraping is immoral.

A non-scraping cheeseball approach to a ton of pages is using product feeds -

If you slice, dice and categorize properly so your view of the same feed doesn't appear to the search engines like anyone else's view of the data you can rise thru the ranks doing this.

It also helps to use a redirecting URL so the search engines don't see all the links going to Amazon, CJ, etc. and then block the robots from following that redirector link in robots.txt and NOFOLLOW in the links themselves.

Really? Nothing comic about it. You want content - develop it. You're looking for shortcuts and if you're intent you'll probably find them. I wasn't trying to be funny and I certainly wasn't trying to be dark. If you want more pages you need to build more pages. No one here will tell you how to scrape, presumably anyway.

You're more likely to get banned by the search engines (or by Google, anyway), which won't be helpful to your AdSense revenues.

Another way to add lots of content is to hire a few people to write content for you.

Another way is to encourage your users to add their own content somehow. Incentives help move this process along.

Then create a "Most Popular Widgets" or something along those lines to showcase the most viewed widgets.

This gets people to not only create content, but advertise it too. Win/Win.

Put a ad in the paper for a contest....have people write you articles on your broad topic, the winner gets some sort of cash prize....you'd be amazed how many out of work, old people there are, that want to write....heck they may start doing it free because you are putting their work on a website....sky is the limit...use your imagination..and just do it.

btw....i've never tried that idea, so if it works let me know, and send me a cheque!

This idea (incredibill's) looks great. but will I not be penalised in any way for duplicate content?
