Why isn't my google ads showing up on firefox? It doesn't show up on my main site (example.com) but shows up on my subdomain site (subdomain.example.com) eventhough the template and code is the same. The ads show up fine in Internet Explorer. When I view-source in FireFox, it shows the code for the google ad.

You have javascript disabled in Firefox.

Uncheck that box to enable javascript and you will see the ads

I had this same problem, curiously on some sites, but not others. In my case on the sites that had the Firefox issues, I had made the Adsense code on an older PC with an older version of Windows. The Adsense generated Javascript looked okay, but evidently had some minor syntax errors.

I think IE is a bit more forgiving with syntax errors than Firefox, so the Adsense ads showed okay under IE, but not under Firefox.

I regenerated the Adsense Javascript code on a newer PC with a current version of Windows, reinstalled in in the HTML and now the ads are now fine under Firefox, too.

DennyTang -

First, try clearing your Firefox browser cache and deleting your browser cookies. Next, make sure JavaScript is enabled. If you still can't see ads, you might want to download the latest version of Firefox.

If the problem continues to persist, check out my post on the following thread:

Good luck!

It could also be that you are running a custom userContent.css:

You may want to install the chromEdit extension to play with it:
