Payment getting slower every month

Google has really dropped the ball with this

Here we are at the 11th of the month and still no cheque from Google. At first the cheques arrived 25 days after the end of the period, then it was 33 days, now we are pushing 45 days.

Funny I don't remember Google extending my payment terms for Adwords. It is not good enough Google!

At least now with Yahoo! releasing a similar program we will start to have some competition and Google might start to pay on time better. Not to mention give us back a better share of the revenue (this has also slipped over the course of the program).

We are in Australia, but mail doesn't normally take long to get here.

Google hasn't extended the payment terms or gone outside of their normal contract time.

They still send the payments before they are "due" according to their terms of service.

EFT is available in several countries, and secure DHL payments are supposed to be faster/more reliable for those that need a more defined date.

Sometimes they have paid earlier within their "range" and sometimes they have paid later within the range. But not late.

What happens after they mail the payment is sort of out of their hands though.

The EFT payment has been right on time each month for me.

They don't offer EFT to publishers based in Australia.

I didn't say Google was outside their terms. They can write what they like in their terms, but there is no doubt payment has been slower.

It has become worse since they moved to the outsourced distribution houses. It may just be that the one servicing Australia is particularly slack.

They may have sent the check slower than other months (maybe by a couple of days), but they are still "on time".

IMO, Google are probably the most reliable company that I deal with when it comes to payment.

Some affiliate programs that I have dealt with in the past have been woeful.

At least Google have come out with EFT (unfortunately not available to all places yet) which at some stage could be available to all AdSense publishers.
