How many hours a week do you really work?

I know we had a similar thread quite awhile back however I wondered just how many hours per week you spent, if any at all, at optimising your sites for Adsense and working on your site(s) generally?

I used to spend maybe a couple of Adsense hours per week until I got my best placement results until 05.05.05. A few weeks ago I ripped everything apart taking a good couple of days to go through 100+ sites and have done nothing with Adsense modifications since because they have had the desired efect.

General web site work/maintenance I spend maybe 10 hours per week, the other 70 hours I have to do "real" work:-))

I work between 50-60 hours a week managing my sites...

I work about 5 hours every day!
but this include all my online businesess. not only adsense. I do ebay, web design, web hosting, adsense, and of curse read this forum as much as I can since I joined :) I work on the weekends also

I work about 5 hours a day, max, but it starts at 4 am and finishes at 11 pm.

This past week my wife quit her job to become my book-keeper. It took her approximately 2 hours to get used to the new schedule, and I don't think she'll ever go back.

I spend about 90 hours a week on average. Sometimes more. Anyone thinking about doing it full time should save up a few months of expenses, quit their job and go for it. Taking the safety net away is the biggest kick in the rear and makes you do it, out of fear and the rush. I worked on the web part time from 95-99. Saved 6 months income and went solo in early 2000. Still going strong but never would have raised the level if I hadn't quit my day job. It took two years to make it back to income levels of the job, but it was worth it. Days on the beach, nights on a computer....
