I get clicks but no earnings...

I have put Adsense on my website and I wonder why I some days do not get any earnings, even though there are clicks (and they are not clicked by me :-).

Ok, for your question, I know 2 possibilities: -

1. The clicks come from clicking PSA ads.
2. Invalid clicks

Is it so difficult for you to go to the Adsense site where you just happen to have an account and there just so happens to be a SEARCH BOX...

I quite like the odd PSA add, gives your customers the impression of a altruistic touch. Well we don't run the Economist so I find it quite good in our sector as long as it's not ONLY them.

To answer your question: A PSA is an ad that Google shows when there are no suitable ads to show to a specific visitor at the time. You don't get paid for clicks on PSAs, even though they show in your account statistics.

This is the only reason that I can think of.

We should point out Google also does not get paid as they are donations to causes that Google deems worthy.

There would be chance of invalid clicks or the visitors might not staying on your ad as google states that if you go to a site and do not stay, then that click may not count.

That it could be PSA already crossed my mind and I noticed once in a while there in fact ARE PSA on the site, however not often.
Hehh, I guess there is not really any way one can be sure - the reason for my post here was to see if you guys would all point at one, two... things that I should check up on.
