I usually block google ads to my own IP address so i don't click on them but i had the blocking temporarily diabled.
I think it would be agreat feature if google could supply adsense publishers with either:
A) an ignore IP pool - so ads would appear and be clickable but not "count" if they were clicked by an ip in your list. or
B) A blocking cookie - that basically told adsense not to count the click
- im a fricken nervous wreck now - i dont want my account disabled for being a dumbass :( - it was a total accident -
anyone ever report an accidental click?
It's easy enough to switch back on again.
- I re-enabled the ip blocking so the ads do not show up at all - i have a static IP so they are blocked - i had it of for some testing.
I turned my ip filter back on so alls well that ends well.
I'd think they'd allow at least a tiny bit of investigation as a webmaster. After all, I'm not gonna put just any ole ad on my sites. Would you?
I would want to know what my visitors are going to experience when they themselves click on my ads.
as for disabling javascript in your browser so you donīt see them, how do you check that everything is running ok and there arenīt problems with their display in that case?
Just a suggestion for anyone who may suffer from wild mouse slippage syndrome:-))
