Ad Links Effect on Adsense Reporting

Are ad links consolidated with ad units?

I couldn't get site search to work so am posting this in hopes that it is not a duplicate question....

I have been trying to optimize some web pages that have been serving only one Adsense ad unit. I tried optimizing by adding an ad link unit to those pages.

Since I've added the ad links, my CTR has decreased but my revenues have increased. I would have expected my page CTR to increase, but since it didn't, I'm wondering if that means that ad links are treated as separate page impressions on the Adsense reporting page (not combined with the ad units)?

If that's the case, then it is not possible to calculate the change in CTR seen by adding ad links to a page that already contains ad units (which is what I am trying to do).

Can anyone confirm how the ad links are treated in Adsense reporting? And if there is any way to measure CTR at the page level when both ad units and ad links are served?

Thanks for any responses!

Put channels on them and you will see what the results are.

I have the same channel on both of them.
