Can you give me your advice what you use for mambo sites
I don't
I backed up my content, and removed mambo and replaced with a simpler dynamic site script. Much simpler than mambo.
My google rankings went up soon.
Mambo isnt an ideal solution . if you want to use a portal software like mambo, use Xoops. I fund it much better than any of them.
One thing to note: Don't show the module name unless it is named either "Sponsored Links" or "Advertisements" - any other name breaks the rules. I never show the names since I have them labeled to indicate their size and that they are adsense.
You can "cut" new module positions into most templates if you feel comfortable dabbling with the html/php code. I don't know much php but I've done this several times. It's not hard - just have to be careful to do no damage.
I haven't noticed any "loss" of SERP position or revenue by using Mambo. I switched a completely static html, 5 year old, ~500 page site to using Mambo last February. No regrets at all. Mambo has allowed me to add several hundred more pages to the site since then easily.
