Very Low Earnings

Anyone else having a 'Black Friday?'

Just checking to see if anyone else is experiencing very low earnings today. I'm at about half what a normal Friday produces.

Seems like a pretty typical Friday. (Actually, my Fridays have been stronger lately than they used to be. Maybe this summer's heat waves have been keeping people at home near their fans or air conditioners on the weekends.)

Everything seems to be going better than average here. CPM took a jump... that's unusual for a Friday. It appears the advertisers are getting smarter, and new ads are keeping the visitors (and me) happy

I have 10 sites with 10 separate channels set up to monitor their stats with AS. The downturn is across all sites, which makes me think it must be something on G's end and not any kind of rankings drop. The sites are in completely different industries and are even SEO'ed differently. And I've checked many pages' rankings on the major engines - no changes there. Just seeing low CTR and low earnings across all 10 sites. Strange. Thanks for the replies, all!

My income is down 50% from yesterday - but still OK so I am not complaining too loudly.

First time I have noticed such a drop off on a Friday.

I wonder if there could be a delay in the stats due to end of month?

Oh well - somebody has to do it.....

Had a very good day Friday. Normally it's slowish, but yesterday was good. eCPM up about 20% over the rest of the week ut site traffic overall was average.

Noticing a drop also. Lowest for this month.
According to the my tracker, impressions and clickthroughs are lower compared to other days. That rules out the possibility of Google stats not catching up.
Could be due to SERPs. Yahoo's new index/update.

I thought it may have been the Yahoo update to their index, but it appears that all my sites pages are still indexed.

Maybe it is just a bad day!

I'm just HAPPY to see traffic again from Google, after being completely deleted for 2 days...

It instills a new perspective... ANY earnings is better than NOTHING!

That being said, yes my site Friday received about half the amount of "restrictive" traffic that I had on Thursday from the other major search engines...

However realistically speaking, what do we expect? It is mid-summer on a Friday night in the USA (the largest AdSense market)... I surely wouldn't be surfing the net if I had ANYTHING better to do.

But I am celebrating being entirely reinstated into Google SERPs as if nothing had happened...

THANK YOU GOOGLE! And GoogleGuy & ASA and anyone else that may have had a hand in establishing sanity in my niche market once again... (joking... somewhat..)

Normal for mine earning $20 a day.
But on Friday it just $12 at about 140 impression.

I was close to $500 lighter today compared to yesterday - I hope the trend doesnt continue.

Pages are still indexed in all the major search engines - maybe the Yahoo update has shuffled page positions.

I noticed a big drop for the first time....for some reason i had a record number of clicks for one day and also the lowest daily pay out since i started.

Might be combination of

- google system screw up
- bad ads
- friday
- summer season
- end of month

I imagine all the high paying ads have exhausted their monthly budget and disappear whereas the cheap ads still have some budget left and so begin to replace high-paying ads on your sites.

But what do i know? I´m only guessing.

Mine was an all time high on friday. Previous highest was around 8$'s and on this friday it was around 12.

It was a great Friday (near record high for a Friday) for me. July as a whole is also a record-breaking month for me.

An all round a very strange week for one of our sites which showed differences in CTR by 240%, eCPM by 333% and actual earnings by 299%.

The week went as follows:

Monday: 33% above average
Tuesday: 120% above average
Wednesday: 30% below average
Thursday: 100% above average - very evident click dump from Wednesday
Friday: 11% below average

This site has seen swings all over the place this last couple of weeks which is not at all "normal".

No changes with any SERPS in majors engines, visitor levels steady.

It's certainly a roller coaster for that site at the moment.

I actually reached above my last highest day by $10 with friday for a $130 dollar day.
