Graphics next to adsense block

I am trying to find somewhere in the TOS that say you cannot align arrows or bullet points to the left of the adsense block. Does anyone know if this is kosher? I think it may be a greay way to increase CTR.

There are simple ways to work with fonts and maintain a natural flow to the site.

Google ads do work if you don't "blast" people with them. Make them visible enough so they are seen by every visitor who enters a page, but blend enough to look cohesive.
